Guido ABBATE était le fondateur, sur les rives du lac de Come, du chantier Abbate boat company, ensuite dirigé par son fils Bruno ABBATE, plus connu du grand public, qui produit la gamme des bateaux Primalist.
ABBATE est un constructeur historique de bateaux rapides depuis le début des années 1900.
ABBATE était un très proche concurrent de RIVA des années 50 à 70. La production et le style d’ABBATE étaient si proche de RIVA qu’un œil non expert ne pouvait en faire la différence.

Guido ABBATE was the founder of the original Abbate boat company, on the shores of Lago di Como, then run by his son Bruno Abbate, who is more known to the great public, which produces the range of boat Primalist.
ABBATE is an hystorical italian builder of power boats since beginning of 1900. ABBATE was the closest competitor of RIVA during the ‘50s up to the ‘70s. The ABBATE production and style is so similar to RIVA, that a non expert eye might mistake one for the other.
